The Services are provided by Werea Srl, via Lamarmora 13/c, 20900 Monza (MB), Italy, VAT IT08833540969 ("AerariumChain", "we"). In the United States, services may be provided through AerariumChain Corp. where a signed order says so. These terms cover the website aerariumchain.com and the AerariumChain HUB platform with its connected applications (the "Services"). Signed orders or master agreements with institutions prevail over these terms where they differ.
The content of this website (text, images, renders, design) belongs to AerariumChain or to its licensors, including the institutions whose artworks appear here with permission. You may browse and share links; you may not scrape, reproduce or reuse content commercially without written permission.
Access to the HUB comes through an institution that invites you with a role. Keep your credentials personal and safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account, and your institution governs what you can see and do.
Every scan, model, image and derivative produced for or uploaded by an institution belongs to that institution or to the owner of the artwork. AerariumChain receives only the limited, non-exclusive license needed to operate the Services (store, process, display and deliver the content per the institution's instructions) and acquires no rights over the collection. Full export in open formats is always available.
The HUB, its software, applications, pipelines and documentation belong to AerariumChain. We grant institutions and their users a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for the duration of the agreement.
Do not use the Services for unlawful content or purposes; do not upload content you have no rights to; do not attempt to breach, overload or reverse engineer the platform; do not access other institutions' content without authorization. We can suspend accounts that put the Services or other users at risk.
Digitization campaigns, kits, HUB subscriptions and services are governed by the applicable order or agreement, which defines scope, fees and duration. Where a free trial or pilot is agreed, its limits are stated in the order.
We operate the Services with professional care and aim at continuous availability, with maintenance windows communicated in advance where possible. Specific service levels apply only where a signed agreement includes them.
Notarization writes file fingerprints to a public blockchain. These records are permanent by design and cannot be modified or deleted by anyone, including us. By using the feature, the institution acknowledges this immutability. Fingerprints contain no artwork content and no personal data.
Some services (for example 3D printing) are performed by selected third-party suppliers. Unless the order says otherwise, the resulting contract is between the institution and the supplier; we facilitate the contact and the secure access to the twin needed for the quote.
The Services are provided as described, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, AerariumChain's aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid for the Services in the twelve months preceding the event; nothing limits liability for willful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Consumers keep all rights granted by mandatory law.
Agreements end as set out in the order. On termination, the institution has a reasonable window to export its content in open formats (METS packages, meshes, TIFF pyramids), after which we delete it as agreed. Notarization records on public blockchains persist as described in section 9.
Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy. For collection content, data processing terms for institutions are part of the service agreement and available on request at dpo@aerariumchain.com.
These terms are governed by Italian law, with exclusive venue in the courts of Monza, Italy, except where a signed order states otherwise or where mandatory consumer law grants you a different venue.
